Always Teasing Each Other
Jeon So-min and Lee Kwang-soo are always teasing each other, but it can be felt that it comes out of their close friendship. In episode 383 of Running Man, the members had to take part in training to celebrate the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. The members of Sechs Kies, Soyou, and Lee Elijah joined as guests with the Running Man members. At the end of the episode, they would get a water bomb penalty if they lost the game.
During episode 383 of Running Man, Lee Kwang-so and Jeon So-min were seen fighting by throwing snow at each other. When Kwang-soo wanted to counterattack So-min by throwing snow at her, So-min escaped and she ran for help toward Jong-kook, and hid behind him. Kim Jong-kook then asked her why she always looks for him when she fights with Kwang-soo. So-min then said that it was because Jong-kook is the strongest person among them.

As we might know, Lee Kwang-soo, Jeon So-min, and the other Running Man cast members are always teasing each other. It doesn’t only happen when they are shooting the show; even in their real life, they are also teasing each other. One day, Jeon So-min posted several pictures of herself that were taken by Kim Jong-kook during a shoot for Running Man on her personal Instagram account. She happily wrote in the caption, “As usual, Kim Jong Kook Oppa is great at taking photos.” She also hilariously zoomed in on Lee Kwang-soo, who had photobombed all three photos from a distance behind her. She playfully wrote, “And in the back, a giraffe who looks like a ghost.”

In response to So-min’s post, Kim Jong-kook then took to his Instagram to tease Jeon So-min right back. After posting a photo of himself taking pictures of Jeon So-min, with Lee Kwang-soo standing in the background. Jong-kook jokingly wrote the caption, “So-min, get out of the way… I am photographing Kwang-soo [and not you]…” Jeon So-min then replied by commenting, “Ah….. so that is how it was…… no wonder. I noticed that even after I had posed for a long time, you did not stop taking photos……”
Showing Off Their Friendship Level
Lee Kwang-soo and Jeon So-min have been close friends since she was a guest on Running Man. Both of them often show their friendship during the show, as it was seen in episode 624 of Running Man, when Lee Kwang-soo flicked So-min forehead. Before he flicked her forehead, he asked her to smile and she looked so beautiful. However, soon after, she was being flicked on her forehead, she was screaming, and her smile was gone. She then failed in the games. So-min took an act of revenge toward Kwang-soo, and flicked and punched his forehead.
It seems Kwang-soo and So-min had really become good friends, however, other members did not know to what extent. In episode 359 of Running Man, shortly after she joined the show, So-min stole some duck meat from Haha during a penalty, and started eating it. Seeing this, Kwang-soo walked toward her from the other side of the room and took it, then put it in his mouth and ate it. So-min then told other members that his fingers came down to her uvula. Kwang-soo the asked her what her uvula was. He thought it was meat.
It is not surprising, these two members of Running Man always fighting each other like children. Every time they end up like this, the other members remind them that they would be a terrible couple if they ever chose to date. Jeon So-min herself seems to agree with this, as she once said in an interview, “If someone you are dating acts like that, you should break up with them immediately.”
Having Penalty Trip Together
Lee Kwang-soo and Jeon So-min were proving once again that they are destined to be together on screen. In one episode of Running Man, So-min was chosen as a member to accompany Kwang-soo to Indonesia, in order to “enjoy” a penalty in which both of them had to ride a cable car across Tamang beach in the midst of extreme weather.
The rest of the members of Running Man watched the whole trip unfold, with them back in South Korea, including ther hilarious fight in the car, in which So-min complained about Kwang-soo getting an unfair advantage on a quiz. The two were rubbing each other’s heads and gesturing that the other is crazy, and the others intervened. Watching this, Se-chan said, “You two are insane”. And Jong-kook added, “But you are cute together”.
In an earlier episode, Kwang-soo got So-min a bracelet, and then she wore it for the trip.
These two are really part of “the unlucky team,” which means they, unfortunately, have to go through every penalty together. So-min was lucky to escape the penalty of having to get in a cage with a crocodile, but she and Kwang-soo had to watch Yoo Jae-suk and Ji Suk-jin do it first. This trip gave us many memorable moments, but not one as memorable as the crocodile “exposing itself” to both of them.
Doing Silly Things
This is what happens when someone is on a plane for a very long time. All they wanna do is take a shower and clean up. In episode 378 of Running Man, Jeon So-min said that she wanted to take a shower, and Yoo Jae-suk said that he needed to wash his hair. He told other members that So-min smelled really bad when she was passing by, because So-min has not washed her hair in a while.
Yoo Jae-suk then suggested that they try to smell each other’s hair, because he wanted to know how bad it was. Kwang-soo, who was sitting beside her, tried to smell her hair. After he smelled it, he immediately pulled away from her head because it smelled really bad.
In episode 377, everyone was completely dumbfounded as to what was going on. Are So-min and Kwang-soo a love-line? Are they just weirdly close friends? They held each other’s tongues to get them into the other’s nostrils, and Kwang-soo tackled So-min to help her put her leg behind her head, and they both ended their scene on a very steamy note and left everyone in utter disbelief.
Revealing So-min Drinking Habit
In episode 471 of Running Man, Lee Kwang-soo was revealing his fellow cast member, Jeon So-min’s, drinking habit. During the episode, Lee Kwang-soo wrote a poem telling about his fellow member Jeon So-min, and read it in front of other members. In his poem, with the title “So-min,” he wrote, “I saw your eyes spinning after you drank. I saw your words getting rough after you drank. I saw your hands throwing the table after you drank. You have spinning eyes, a rough mouth, and violent hands. So you are crazy.” His poem really cracked up other members, while So-min also laughed and tried hard to calm her anger towards Kwang-soo.
