They started dating in January 2019, and have been constantly meeting secretly at Kang Daniel’s place. Jihyo would be driven by one of the Twice members to Kang Daniel’s place, and she would be picked up by them after the date.

Not a long time after the rumor spread, JYP Entertainment, Jihyo’s agency, confirmed to NESWEN that they are seeing each other with a good feeling.

Congratulations, Jihyo and Kang Daniel!

However, things are not always so smooth when it comes to idols and dating, especially if the lover is also idol. Jihyo as the girlfriend of the popular solo singer, Kang Daniel, started getting hate comments by angry netizens and Kang Daniel’s hard core fans, who don’t like the idol being in a relationship with Jihyo.

Even Seulong, who became the cupid of their love story, was also getting bullied by netizens on his Instagram comments.

Jihyo’s Amazing Singing Skill

Jihyo’s role in Twice is not only as the leader, but also as a lead vocalist. In Sixteen, we can see how amazing Jihyo’s vocal was, even before she debuted as a Twice member. Now, after she debuted, Jihyo has taken a lot of key point parts in Twice’s title songs, such as Likey, Feel Special, etc.

We have gathered some evidences of Jihyo’s vocal skills that have improved a lot since her pre-debut days. Her voice when she was in Sixteen was good enough, but Jihyo just can’t rest and keep upgrading herself. What a true queen she is!

Jihyo’s Latest News

As a celebrity, being followed by paparazzi is a natural thing. It’s true that K-pop idols such as  Jihyo, sometimes have to deal with reporters and fansites following them to capture pictures or take videos of some moments. For example, when Twice has just arrived from some place in the airport, reporters and fansites would take a picture of them.

However, on December 8, 2019, Jihyo had to face a pitiful accident that was caused by the crowded people, including reporters and fansites, at the airport. It was so crowded and chaotic that Jihyo tripped over something and fell down. This accident made Jihyo’s leg hurt. Gladly, Chaeyoung and Sana were there to help her to stand and walk properly.

Following this accident, JYP Entertainment released a statement saying that they are ready to take a legal action if this kind of incident will happen again in the future. They also put the names of some fans that were causing the trouble and riot on a blacklist, and made them unable to contribute to further activities of Twice.

Let’s hope that Jihyo and the rest of the Twice members will not find this kind of trouble again in the future! Fighting, Jihyo and Twice!
