As we know that K-Wave has been spread around the world, either that is from the drama, various products, or the most popular one which is ‘K-Pop’. Because of the impact, many people started to be interested in Korean culture and one of them is their language.

A Ska Punk band called ‘The Chinkees’ popularized the song in the United States, they performed it on their 1999 recording ‘Piece Through Music’. A musician, Elena Moon Park also released another version of ‘Mountain Rabbit’ on her 2012 album of East Asian children’s and folk song ‘Rabbit Days and Dumplings’.

This song is telling about a mountain rabbit, that hops around the hills and hiding in the grass to find some chestnuts.
