Kim Tae-yeon, or better known by her stage name Taeyeon, is a South Korean solo artist under SM Entertainment. [PURPOSE: THE EXHIBIT] in Seoul
Taeyeon of Girls’ Generation dropped her brand new second full-length album Purpose on October 28th, 2019, under her agency SM Entertainment. The album features 12 tracks, including the single “Four Seasons,” its B-side track “Blue” alongside ten new tracks, where the single “Spark” is the title track of the album.
To celebrate the release of her brand new album, the powerhouse singer, Taeyeon held a photo exhibition. The exhibition was titled “Purpose: The Exhibit” and it was held from October 22nd to October 27th, 2019, at Gana Art Hannam, central Seoul. The exhibition was also held at exhibit space F1963 in Busan from Wednesday through Sunday, from October 23rd to October 27th, 2019. The admission to the exhibition was free.

The exhibition was a curated selection of images from the singer’s second album, Purpose. And it was divided into three sections to showcase the singer’s self as a vocalist, artist, as well as diverse aspects of herself.

The 9th annual Gaon Chart Music Awards took place at the Jamsil Arena in Seoul on January 8th, and it was hosted by Super Junior’s Leeteuk and ITZY’s Lia.
During the event, Taeyeon won Artist of The Year for the month of March with her chart-topping digital single “Four Seasons” at the 9th annual Gaon Chart Music Awards.

Seoul Music Awards 2020
The 2020 Seoul Music Awards took place on January 30th, 2020, at Gocheok Sky Dome, Seoul. The winners have been announced according to a number of categories contained in this year’s award.
Like other music awards in South Korea, the 2020 Seoul Music Awards also gave the highest award or grand prize winner (Daesang) in two categories. The two categories are one for best album and another for best digital music. During this event, the award for the best female solo artist was given to Taeyeon, the grand prize for digital music for her single “Four Seasons,” which was released in May 2019.
One of the Girls’ Generation members, not only won a Daesang in the category for Digital Song of the Year for her song “Four Seasons,” but she also managed to bring home two other trophies.
