The production team of the Chinese drama “Lucky Tianbao” updated fans with a picture of Super Junior’s Kim Ki-bum busy filming. The mood is romantic, piquing interest in scene to come in the drama. “Lucky Tianbao” is Kim Ki-bum’s second Chinese drama. He recently finished filming for another drama, “Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils”, with Chinese actor Wallace Chung.

Kim Ki-bum plays Tianbao, the happy-go-lucky youngest son of a prominent family who earns the irate jealousy of his elder brother, thereby causing a multitude of soap opera-ish drama for everyone involved.

Synopsis

This is the legend of Zhu Tian Bao (Kim Ki-bum). He is the second son of Prince Jian Xing and his older brother is Zhu Tian Xiang (Zhu Zi Xiao). The story starts off with Yang Ruo Nan (Zhao Li Ying) finding out she’s marrying the eldest son, Tian Xiang, when she wants to marry Tian Bao. Tian Bao doesn’t like her and leaves the city. Ruo Nan secretly follows him around, and even though Tian Bao knows, he doesn’t do anything about it but enters brothels and shows her what kind of man he is.

Through this, he meets Meng Xiao Die (Chen Yu-Lin), who was brought into the city by her teacher, Du San Niang (Bernice Liu). Seeing the closeness between Tian Bao and Xiao Die, Ruo Nan leaves. However, to clear up the misunderstanding, Tian Bao tries to find Xiao Die but instead gets ambushed along the way. He falls down a cliff and loses his memory, only to be saved by Xiao Die’s father! His brother is usurping the throne, and there are misunderstandings to be cleared up with Xiao Die. Many challenges await “Lucky Tian Bao”.

On November 8, OSEN came to a finding that actor Kim Ki-Bum has confirmed to appear in SBS’ upcoming variety show “Two Feet Life” (literal translation). While the program hasn’t begun filming, it has been confirmed to be premiering sometime in early December.

On the December 14th episode, Kim Ki-bum made a variety show appearance for the first time in years. He commented, “I think it’s been more than 10 years since I appeared on a variety show. I’m very nervous.” 

“Two Feet Life” is a reality program, where the audience gets to observe the daily lives of various celebrities. The celebs will join their friends, family, and colleagues, in spreading the importance of taking care of one’s health by taking a quick stroll every day.

Consequently, Kim Ki-Bum finally gets to meet with his fans for the first time in 6 years through this program. After appearing in tvN’s drama “I Love Lee Tae-Ri” in 2012, Kibum went into a long hiatus from the industry.
